BDI Technologie in Asien

Die BDI – BioEnergy International AG hat eine Erweiterung ihres Auftrages für eine Multi-Feedstock BioDiesel-Anlage in Hongkong erhalten. Die Anlage soll nach Fertigstellung 100.000 Tonnen BioDiesel pro Jahr produzieren und dabei hauptsächlich Fettabscheiderfette als Rohstoff verwenden.

Biokraftstoffe haben wesentlichen Anteil am österreichischen Energiemix

Die aktuellen Produktionszahlen bei Biokraftstoffen zeigen, dass Biodiesel und Bioethanol ihren Anteil an der heimischen Energieversorgung konstant halten. Im österreichischen Energiemix spielen sie besonders im Hinblick auf die EU-Richtlinien zur Senkung klimabeeinflussender Emissionen eine wesentliche Rolle. Laut Angaben der österreichischen Biodiesel- und Bioethanolproduzenten der ARGE Biokraft wurden 2011 309.598 Tonnen Biodiesel und 170.994 Tonnen Bioethanol in Österreich produziert.

The Energy Department announced up to $15 million is available to demonstrate biomass-based oil supplements that can be blended with petroleum.
