The report deals with the question "why sustainable alternative fuels are important for aviation, shows technology options, initiatives, links, documents and further research needs. The objective of the meeting between experts of both sides was to have an opened discussion on R&D issues regarding "aviation fuels". One outcome was to highlight a possible set of R&D activities that would be necessary to the obtain the technology and know-how in time for a successful implementation.
